Helping premedical and medical students navigate the educational pathway to medicine
My name is Takisha Morancy and I am an Emergency Medicine Resident Physician
My goal is to help close the gaps that students, face when pursuing a career in medicine. Becoming a doctor can at times be an arduous journey with limited access. As the first person to become a doctor in my family, at times, I found it difficult to navigate my educational career. Road to medicine will provide aspiring health care professionals with guidance that will help them reach the destination of MD!

Connecting students with resources that will cover expenses for applications and exams
Academics
Providing schedule templates, research opportunities, and advisement on classes and academic performance.
Well-Being
Providing safe spaces for vulnerability concerning faith, mental health, and hardships.
I have
- Mentored all types of students from highschool to medical school
- Pioneered “A Day in the Life” shadowing program for hish school students
- Lectured college students on topics such as anatomy, cardiology etc.
